As the deadline for Windows XP extended support draws near, many restaurants and bars are left considering their options. After April 8th, 2014 anyone still processing integrated credit cards will no longer be compliant according to PCI-DSS requirement 6.1: “Ensure that all system components and software are protected from known vulnerabilities by having the latest vendor-supplied security patches installed. Install critical security patches within one month of release."  As a courtesy to our customers, we will be providing some helpful information to determine who is affected and how they can beat the compliance deadline.
